The Curious Case of Quirk.

Glitter and sparkles, gun-shouting voices, those odd lime green pop-eye sandals and hugs and kisses from parents. You weren't exactly embarrassed while having those moment as a child were you? Where have they all gone? It's like life is slowly taking those child-like quirk moments from us day by day, hour by hour and it's only by chance of observation that it sparks a thought of de jevu.

I can't help by staring at a little toddy girl's top today in the MRT and I think to myself why is it that we can't wear those any more. Obviously we'll look stupid and it's like an attention seeking top. The little girl's top was filled with rainbows, sunshine, glitter and sparkles, flowers and bees and some sequents made into a shape of a horizon.

As we all age, some of us grow to be rather sophisticated and wearing anything to do with childhood fashion = obnoxious. Well, some still prefer to stay well within their child-like years and resume those child-like fashion till they "wake-up" one day.

Writing this really seem to make me feel "older". Although I am disinterested in being a grown up, somehow, time makes you realise things and I guess at a certain point in life, you have to really make way and well, I guess move with times. It's really odd to see an adult behaving like a child (unless he's handicapped) even so, we as humans sometimes still look(stare) at such people. Other species makes their scene in wearing childy fashion and looking equally stupid.

I don't know maybe I am getting "older" and trying to make sense out of growing up and thus I am sprouting these irrelevant notes. But I would pretty much LOVE to dress my kids up one day!
